Antoinette “Kit” Brady Kling

Antoinette “Kit” Brady Kling passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, Aug. 31, 2009 at 6:23 a.m. at the age of 89.

She was a native of St. James Parish and resided in Destrehan since 1942 and was a regular parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She is survived by her son, Herbert Joseph Kling, Jr. and one sister, Melda Petit. Five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, whom she adored. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Joseph Kling, Sr., Parents; Moise Brady and Eugenia Oubre Brady. Four brothers; Eddie, Albert, Antione and Eugene Brady. Four sisters; Marie Poche, Lillian Weber, Rita Madere and Edvige LeBlanc. Visitation was held on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. at the church with Fr. Daniel officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, P. O. Box 428, Destrehan, La. 70047. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of H. C.
