Karen Elizabeth Terrebonne Callais, 56, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Poplarville, Miss. was intrusted to God’s loving care on Aug. 24, 2011 in Poplarville.
She is survived by her husband, Kim Callais, mother, Lorraine Dufrene Terrebonne, brothers, Bobby and Chuck Terrebonne, sister, Donna Terrebonne Bourg, and Godmother, Lena Terrebonne. She was preceded in death by her father, Nolta Joseph Terrebonne, and Godfather, Alvin Gautreaux. She was a graduate of South Lafourche High School in 1972.
Services were held on Aug. 27 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Golden Meadown with entombment in the church mausoleum. Samart Funeral Home in Cut Off was in charge of arrangements.
