Gavin Patrick Bradley

Gavin’s secret ingredient? Butter, a huge heart, a thumbs up, and a smile. He was a chef like no other: sometimes a mystery, always a jokester, and never a dull person. The assumed patriarch to the Bradley family was an artist with a plate as his medium, a smile for his side dish, and a smirk for his dessert. Nights during the dinner rush were like war, and he battled with his knife and his towel. He was a soldier, and enjoyed his victory dance. We hope you spoke to him about music, if not ask a friend about his insatiable love for it – he was that guy that always had a portable speaker everywhere he went. Gavin was a history major with an incredible memory and was a voracious reader.

He howled at the moon enough for all of us.

He enjoyed a fresh roux and showing his loved ones how to love cooking. Kayaking, fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors were his second love. He first love was being a father, a friend, an uncle, a nephew, a brother, a son, a cousin, and a Paw. He had the biggest heart of anyone and he will be missed.

Gavin Patrick Bradley passed away July 22, 2022 at the age of 62. He was the son of Aline Favor and the late Victor “Verb” Bradley, Jr., loving fiancé of Sandra Miller, and stepfather of Carlos and Jason Knoy. He was the brother of Brandon Bradley (Bridget “Bebe”), Shawn Bradley (Danielle), Erin Bradley, Jarred Bradley (Kari), and the late Blaine Thomas Bradley and the late Victor Bradley, III. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and family members. He was also a member of multiple restaurant families – and he cherished his fellow soldiers.
