Floyd Luke Clouate

Born 10-18-43 passed away 11-28-18 after a brief but fierce battle with cancer. He was born in NOLA and was a lifetime resident of SCP. He was preceded in death by his parents Dennis Clouate Sr and Aline Guillot Clouate and siblings Laura Mae Oubre and Mark Anthony Clouate.

He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years (11-26-87) Maddy Clouate, his daughters Celeste Robert (Newton Jr.) and Allison Walker (Tom), his brother Dennis J. Clouate (Barabara Chambers) and sisters Diane Albarado (Cliff) and Aline Champagne (Leon), Step children Debbie Alexander (Howard), Dainel Bourgeois and Richard Bourgeois (Lisa), Grandchildren Shelby Faucheux, Rileigh Robert, Amber Granier, Shane Bourgeois, Jessie Bourgeois, Amy Bourgeois, Megan Bourgeois, Cory Ranallo, JoAnna Bradley, and Charlies Wragge IV, Thomas Walker, Jacob Walker and Abby Walker and 11 Great Grand Children, nieces Gewn Dupont and Leslie Dempster, and nephews Jason and Ross Champagne, Floyd worked most of his adult life at Hooker Chem/Occidental. He was always an avid garner, master fisherman, and legendary storyteller.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life gathering at the American Legion Hall in Luling on Dec. 8, 2018 from 3pm to 7pm.

Special thanks go out to our neighbors who helped us through this very difficult time, and the friends who knew what to do when, and the wonderful staff of Notre Dame Hospice.
