“Sis” Anna Dufrene, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on May 15 at the age of 79.
Preceded in death by her child, Kyle; sisters, Gladys, Eunice and Mildred; and brother, Emmit. She is survived by her husband, Gilbert and her five children: Theron (Lisa), Brandon (Valerie), Darla (Rusty) Rebowe, Cindy Dufrene Rasmussen and Becky (Stephen) Weber. She is also survived by grandchildren Amanda, Jessica, Brittany, Lacey, Brandon, Brad Dufrene; Rustin, Baleigh, Taylor Rebowe; Dustin Faucheux; Hannah, Renny, Jace and Emily Weber; and great-grandchildren Vali and Jett Rupert; Karley, Kelsey and Kenzie Riley.
“Foxy Grandma” will be missed by all who have known her. A funeral service was held immediately following the visitation and burial took place at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Destrehan. Condolences may be expressed at www.hcalexanderfuneralhome.com.
