Dolores Alexander of Luling, La, left this world on April 13, 2023.
Dolores was 90 years old, born on December 19, 1932 in Plaucehville, La. She moved from Plaucheville, La. as a young girl, grew up in Ama, La., Then resided in Luling, La.
Dolores is preceded in death by her late husband, Hubert M. Alexander (Gator), her son, Duane Alexander, her parents, Penn and DLO Rabalais of Luling, La and siblings Ronald Rabalais, Murriel Falgout, Donna Deroche of Luling, La., Melvin (Billy) Rabalais and Steve Rabalais of Montegut, La.
She is survived by her only living sibling, Raymond Rabalais of Luling, La., her children, Darlene Alexander Buras, Rickie Alexander, Stephanie Alexander DeCastro, Kris Alexander Garcia. Also her grandchildren, Tyson Buras, Todd Duet, Rehanna Cornish, Brent Covert, Amy Covert Candies and great grandchildren, Ty Duet, Drake Duet, Adalynn Poole, Mia Candies, Cade Covert and Casen Covert along with many nieces and nephews.
Dolores will be remembered by many, for her homemade Hog Head Cheese. She enjoyed spending time working in her yard, taking care of her flowers and plants. She enjoyed many years of bowling on the St. Charles Senior Bowling League. She was at her happiest with a fishing pole in her hand, “Catching those Reds and Flounders”.
