Deborah Gladys (Cantine) Cawlfield passed away at her home in Montz, LA, on May 12, 2026. She is survived by her four children, Johnny Poursine, Shawn Poursine (Stacie), Samuel Poursine (Jennifer), and Angie Mosteiro (Brian). Seven grandchildren, Drake Sanders, Abrianna, Caleb, Lorelei, & Angeliah Mosteiro, Kaitlyn and Kaylin Poursine, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Bernice Cantine and her eight siblings.
Deborah will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother; she was a selfless woman who did everything for her family. She was a proud aunt and available to her nieces and nephews for advice, always just a phone call away. She was a self-proclaimed bargain shopper; she loved the holidays and was the best gift-giver.
Relatives and friends are invited to H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 22 Apple St. Norco, LA, on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Visitation will begin at 9AM with services at 11AM.
