Coley Oneal “Lee” Bohanan, 56, passed away on May 11, 2026. He was born on December 3, 1969, at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
Lee was preceded in death by his father, Donald O. Bohanan, and his grandparents, Coley Lester Jacobs and Lillie Mae Causey.
He leaves behind a family who will cherish his memory: his two sons, Coley Oneal Bohanan Jr. and Ethan A. Bohanan; his mother, Diane Cancienne, and stepfather, Richard Cancienne; and his stepsisters, Rochelle C. Touchard (Chris) and Amber C. Abney (Marcus).
On April 26, 2026, Lee suffered a massive stroke and remained in a coma until his passing, when he was called home to be with the Lord.
Lee was known for his kind and welcoming spirit. He never met a stranger. He enjoyed cooking and spending time on the computer, and he valued the connections he made with others throughout his life.
He will be remembered by those who knew and loved him.
