Essie Mae Davis Cranford, 89, a native of Tinsman, Ark.and a resident of Luling, passed away on Tuesday, May 27.
Visitation and religious services were Thursday, May 29 at Life Church in Boutte. A second visitation was Saturday, May 31 at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce, Ark. with burial in Ernest Cemetery, Tinsman, Ark.
She is survived by son, Wendell Cranford and wife Brenda; grandchildren, Tina Cranford, Kerry Cranford and wife Allison; great-grandchild, Bentley Cranford and brother, Frank Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Hollis Cranford; parents, James and Effie Smith Davis; brother, Earl Davis and sisters, Nettie Mercer and Eva Porter.Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
