Nora Tregle Cortez, 61, a native and resident of Des Allemands, passed away on Tuesday, May 7 at 9:35 p.m. in Luling.
Visitation and funeral were at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday at St. Gertrude Catholic Church and burial followed in the church cemetery.
She is survived by husband Rodney Cortez; mother, Anita Tregle; brothers, Adlar Jr., Harry, Dino and Vincent Tregle; sisters, Joyce Matherne and Adaline Comardelle and grandchildren, Marissa and Maliry Budzinski.
She was preceded in death by son, Chad Smith; daughter, Dawn Budzinski and father, Adlar Tregle Sr.
