Claire Plaisance Coyle

Claire Plaisance Coyle, 65, resident of Diamondhead, Miss., died peacefully on May 5, 2019 in her home surrounded by her family and close friends after a courageous battle fighting pancreatic cancer for 1-1/2 years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Randall Coyle; her stepson Christopher (Amanda) Coyle, and grandchildren Wyatt and Gracie Coyle of Edmond, Okla.; sister Diana (David) Young of Boutte; sister Marilyn (John) Caro of LaCombe, La.; brother Harold (Linda) Plaisance of Lafitte, La.; brother Kenneth (Jeannie) Plaisance Metairie, La., and a host of nieces and nephews, and friends from all over the world.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Esmo Joseph and Lucy Breaux Plaisance of Boutte.

Claire was born on Aug. 25, 1953 in New Orleans, and was raised in Boutte. She graduated from Hahnville High School in 1971. She attended Delgado College and Holy Cross College and received an associate degree in business.

The family would like to thank Encompass Health, especially her hospice nurse, Denise Saba, for her excellent compassionate care that she gave to Claire.

A celebration of Claire’s life will be held at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9062 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian, Miss.
