Charles Preston Madere, known as “Pre”, 92, a native and resident of Hahnville, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, in Hahnville, on Tuesday, July 11th from 9 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in St. Charles Cemetery.
Charles is survived by Ethel Champagne; siblings, Fay Madere and Jan Madere and numerous extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon P. Madere and Clara K. Madere; siblings, Jimmy, Davis and Earl Madere, Lois Creel, Roberta Lynch, Dorothy Megas, Mildred Madere, Ann Sellers, Marion Pizzolato.
