Louis P. Champagne entered into eternal rest Feb. 21.
Champagne was a resident of Luling, born to his late parents Elphege and Valerie Champagne.
He was beloved husband of the late Anna Mae Foret Champagne, his first wife of 41 years; loving father of Sheila Trauth, Niles Champagne, (Roxanne), Todd Champagne, (Rachel), Lori Schaubhut, (Keith), and Jessie Fahrig.
He is survived by 13 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
He is brother of Herbert, Edward, Doris, Earline and the late Lucille, Marie, Oscar, Willie and Andrew; beloved husband of his late second wife of 13 years, Gloria Zanca Champagne, stepchildren; George, Corane, Sandra and the late Nickie, and step grandchildren.
Service was held Feb. 23 at St. Anthony Church in Luling followed by interment at St. Charles Mausoleum in Luling.
