Walter David Chaisson, 50, died on Monday, May 26 after a hard fought battle with multiple scleroris.
Walter was a lifelong resident of St. Charles Parish and was employed 20 years with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.
He was a loving husband to Lisa Rochelle Chaisson, adoring father to Bryan Kubelka (Brittney), Brad Kubelka (Lesley), Jennie Chaisson Sparks (Warren), Jessica Chaisson (Josh), Gabrielle Chaisson (Brad), Alexandra Chaisson (Delerio) and Mariah Chaisson. Walter was the proud grandfather to Emmersyn, Anna, Bree, Cecelia and Camryn.
The son of Joel T. Chaisson and Bobbie Gulledge Chaisson. The brother of Joel T. Chaisson II (Sandra), Robert A. Chaisson (Brett), Paul A. Chaisson (Erin), Jared A. Chaisson (deceased), Maria M. Chaisson (Lisa), John M. Chaisson (Tina), David L. Chaisson and Eve A. Chaisson.
Visitation will be at St. Charles Borromeo in Destrehan on Thursday, May 29 at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at noon.
