The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking that anyone with information that could help identify suspects involved in an armed robbery that occurred at the Circle K located at 13366 Highway 90 in Boutte, Louisiana on Friday night (Feb. 28) to come forward.
Shortly after 11:00 p.m., police responded to an armed robbery at Circle K on Highway 90 in Boutte. During the investigation, detectives learned that three male subjects entered the store, armed with firearms, and demanded that the store safe was opened. During the robbery the suspects were able to steal three cases containing several cartons of cigarettes and a small amount of money from the register till. After obtaining the cigarettes and money, the suspects fled the area in a dark colored four-door car, possibly traveling west bound on Highway 90.
The three suspects associated in the robbery were described as the following:
Suspect one was described as a tall black male clad in dark clothing and a red bandanna covering his face.
Suspect two was described as a black male who was clad in a black and white colored sweatshirt and had a red bandanna covering his face.
Suspect three was described as a short, light skin black male with an accent. He was clad in a white hooded sweatshirt that had “GAP” written across the front. The suspect had the hooded portion pulled tight to conceal his face.
During the investigation, detectives learned of a similar robbery that occurred a short time prior to this incident at a store located on the west bank of Jefferson Parish. The three men are also suspected of involvement in an Ascension Parish robbery, also a Circle K in which the cash register was robbed.
Photos were taken of the suspects via venue security cameras. If anyone recognizes the suspects, the suspect vehicle, or has any information associated with the incident, they are urged to contact Detective Jenni Barrette of the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office at (985)783-1135 or contact (985)783-6807.
You would think that these business places would spend enough money to buy good-quality surveillance cameras instead of the cheapest on the market. Who can possibly identify anyone in this blurry, out-of-focus photograph?
Obviously the lens on this cheap camera hasn’t been cleaned for months, if ever.
