Due to weather causing high waters and closures of boat launches in St. Charles Parish, the Fish Dat Rodeo scheduled for Saturday, May 22, has been postponed to June 5 at the Bonnet Carre’ Spillway Boat Launch and Pavilion.
Registration for the Fish Dat Rodeo will remain open until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, June 4 at www.scpparksandrec.com. If you have registered and are unable to participate in the June 5 contest, you should contact the Department of Parks and Recreation for a full refund.
The Fish Dat Rodeo is open to all St. Charles Parish residents and legal Louisiana fishing licensed persons. A Louisiana fishing license is required for anglers 16 and older. All Louisiana fishing regulations apply. Registration is $5 for children 12 years of age and younger and $10 for those older than 13.
