The home belonged to family member of Frickey, according to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, and he attempted to flee the scene after firing the shot. St. Charles Parish deputies stopped him and placed him under arrest.

The two family members had an ongoing feud, according to St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesman Cpl. James Grimaldi. Sheriff’s Office deputies observed Frickey’s vehicle as he was leaving the scene and were able to conduct a stop.

Grimaldi said a glass double door was damaged in the incident.

Frickey was released from Nelson Coleman Correctional Center on bond.
