A Gonzales man has been arrested and charged with raping an 8-year-old boy three times, according to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Ricardo Ortiz, 29, 619 W. Bordelon St., was booked on April 21 with three counts of aggravated rape.
Between 2007 and 2009, Ortiz allegedly had inappropriate sexual contact with the boy, according to authorities.
Ortiz is being held at the Nelson Coleman Correctional Center in Killona. His bond is set at $100,000.
