Woman tied up with electrical cord

A 23-year-old Norco woman was forced into her home at gunpoint and tied up with an electrical cord while two men went through her belongings, according to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities say that the woman was walking into her home at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday when she was approached by two men armed with guns. The men forced the woman into her home and tied her up before questioning her about an ex-boyfriend.

The men went through the woman’s belongings and then stole her car. The first robber was described as a 25-year-old black male who was wearing a black shirt, black pants and a black ski mask. The second suspect was described as a 25-year-old black male, wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, navy shorts, a black skull cap and a red, white and blue bandanna covering his mouth.

Authorities believe that the suspects were acquaintances of the victim’s ex-boyfriend.
