The New Orleans Police Department is searching for 19-year-old Matthew Young, a former Destrehan High School student, who was recently reported missing from the 2000 block of Lakeshore Drive.
According to New Orleans police, Young was last seen in December by his mother. He is described as being approximately 6-feet-1-inch tall and 230 pounds with a birthmark above his left eye. He was registered at the University of New Orleans and scheduled to attend classes starting Jan. 17.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call Third District detectives at 504-658-6030 or 911.
