Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Jude Trosclair of Luling announce the engagement of their daughter Mia Elizabeth to Mr. Beau Michael Matherne of Raceland. The couple will exchange vows in Heber Springs, Arkansas on Nov. 19, 2007.
The future bride’s mother is Roxanna Rumore Trosclair. Her grandparents are the late Elise and Sal Rumore, Sr. of Raceland and Dorothy Chiasson Trosclair and the late Milton Joseph Trosclair, Sr. of Thibodaux.
The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vic Matherne of Raceland. His mother is Ellen Hotard Matherne. His grandparents are Noelie Morvant Hotard and the late Richard R. hotard of Norco and the late BLanche Babin Matherne and Victorin Matherne, Sr. of Raceland.
The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Hahnville High School and a 2005 graduate of Nicholls State University. She is employed at H.L. Bourgeois High School.
The prospective groom graduated in 2002 from Central Lafourche High School and in 2006 from Nicholls State University. He is employed at J.P. Morgan Chase in Houma.
The couple will reside in Raceland.
