St. Charles Catholic High School to Hold Open House on Nov. 4

SCC invites you to come and explore 8 – 12th grade Catholic education in the River Parishes

St. Charles Catholic (SCC) High School will hold its 2019 Open House for prospective students on Nov. 4 at 5 p.m. at its campus at 100 Dominican Road in LaPlace. Assemblies will take place at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. with continuous tours until 7 p.m.

SCC invites community members interested in learning more about its academics, arts, athletics, faith and services.

Parents, family members and prospective students are encouraged to come and meet the school’s principal, outstanding faculty and coaching staff, and to talk with students and learn about the many classes and activities at SCC. Learn about SCC’s dual enrollment program, Apple iPad and MacBook program, coding classes, AP classes, 3D printers, state-of-the-art labs and more.

SCC’s success is evident in its higher-than-average ACT scores, graduation rates and scholarship awards.

“Our college-preparatory curriculum offers a rigorous, challenging foundation where our students have a plethora of resources to guide them to achieve their full potential,” said Principal Courtney Millet. “Strong academic results open the door to success at the college level; and SCC prepares our students for college, careers and beyond.”

As the educational and spiritual leader of the River Parishes, SCC strives to develop young men and women as faith-filled students.
