Angelle Marie Madere and Brandon James Sassin exchanged vows during a candlelight ceremony on March 28 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church in Hahnville.
Angelle is the daughter of Brent and Caroline Madere of Luling and the granddaughter of Alba Madere of Reserve and Ruth Dantin of Luling. Brandon is the son of James and Tammy Sassin of Ama and the grandson of James and Barbara Sassin of Luling, and Percy and Geraldine Tregre of Hahnville.
Charlene Lewis served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Charlie Gilboy, Tiffany Thomas and the groom’s sister, Lindsay Sassin. Madeline Mayeux was the junior bridesmaid. Kaylyn Sassin, the couple’s daughter, served as the flower girl.
Ryan Sassin, brother of the groom, served as the best man. The other groomsmen were William and Dennis Madere, brothers of the bride, and Jack Gilboy. Jeffrey Sassin Jr. and Josh Beckes were the ushers, and Kristian Simon was the ring bearer.
Following the ceremony the couple entertained their guests at a reception at the Jefferson-Orleans North Ballroom in Metairie.
After a honeymoon trip to Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla., the couple now resides in Hahnville.
