The Luling Boutte Lions Club will host the Fall Fest Baby Contest on Sunday, Oct. 26 at the VFW Post 3750 in Luling.
This year’s attire is “Sunday’s Best.” Parents are reminded that the LBLC contest is an all natural pageant. No pageant hair or makeup.
This year’s divisions are: Girls – 0 to 7 months, 8 to 14 months, 15 to 23 months, 2 to 3 years, 4 to 5 years, 6 to 8 years, 9 to 10 years, 11 to 12 years. Boys – 0 to 7 months, 8 to 14 months, 15 to 23 months, 2 to 3 years. There is not grace period for age groups.
All kings and queens will receive a rhinestone crown, monogrammed banner and trophy. First through fourth alternates will be awarded a trophy, and all side awards will receive a satin sash.
Optional overall awards include: Overall Most Beautiful and Handsome, Overall Fashion and Overall Photogenic.
Festival director Erica Adams reminds contestants of the following rules:
• Poor sportsmanship will not be tolerated.
• Judges decisions are final.
•Score sheets will be shown after the pageant.
•All queens are invited to attend the festival.
Concessions will be sold that day of the pageant.
Doors open at noon, registration begins at 12:15 p.m. followed by the contest at 1:30 p.m.
Entry fee is $40. Only cash will be accepted on the day of the pageant.
Door admission is $5. Children under 2 are admitted free. Everyone in attendance except for contestants are required to pay the admission price.
All checks and money orders prior to the date of the festival should be made payable to the Luling Boutte Lions Club and mailed to L.B.L.C. Pageant, 1222 1/2 Chilo St., Gretna, LA 70053-3618.

The members of the Luling Boutte Lions Club would like to thank contestants in advance for their entry into this pageant. All proceeds from this pageant will go to the Louisiana Lions Camp. The camp is free for kids with mental and physical challenges, diabetes, and pulmonary disorders.
