This week’s St. Charles Humane Society’s showcase pet is Mocha.
“Mocha is a 6-month-old female lab mix and very sweet. Mocha loves people and playing makes her so happy. She would walk a mile for a doggie treat and 2 miles to have a home to call her very own. Come see her and fall in love with this sweetie pie,” said Jackie Boudreaux, president of the Humane Society.
The shelter is at 921 Rue Cannes in Luling. It is open Monday – Friday and on Saturdays 8 a.m. – Noon. Please stop and adopt.

Please donate to the St. Charles Humane Society. The ASPCA advertises quite a lot on TV and through direct mail, but they do not send any money to the St. Charles Humane Society. Nor does the U.S. Humane Society. The only money the St. Charles Humane Society receives is from private donations plus some parish tax money. If you itemize on your tax return, your donations will be deductible.
