This week’s St. Charles Humane Society’s showcase pet is Nyjha the cat.
“Nyjha is a young female torti-calico who is so full of love and affection to give you. She is truly a lap cat and loves to have her belly rubbed. Nyjha would make a great family pet and said she’d even learn to fetch the newspaper if she had a home to call her very own,” said Jackie Boudreaux, president of the Humane Society.
The shelter is at 921 Rue Cannes in Luling.
