The following Hahnville High School band students were selected to participate in the 2008-2009 Senior High District Honor Band. They will perform at a concert in January 2009.
They are : Flute – Andrew Sandoz, Franziska Wagner; Clarinet: Megan Gonzales, Elizabeth Suss. Bass Clarinet – Trevell Alexander, Philip Petit. Contra-Bass Clarinet – Brock Barlow. Trumpet – Paul Hymel, Allie Petit, Lauryn DesChamps. French Horn – Daniel Terrebonne, Nathan Aupied. Trombone – Caleb Lampert. Percussion – Michael Bell, Matthew Petit, Carissa Marston and Jared Bosco.
Caleb Lampert and Trevell Alexander were also selected to participate in the 2008 All-State Symphonic Band, and Paul Hymel was selected to participate in the 2008 All-State Concert Band. They will perform at a concert in November in Baton Rouge.
