Destrehan High School

Hunter Briet
Hunter Breit is the son of Jacqui and Conrad Breit of Destrehan. After graduation, he plans to pursue a degree in Engineering. Jayce Brown
Jayce Brown is the son of April and Lewis Brown of St. Rose. After graduation, he plans to pursue a degree in Chemistry. Carez Cotton
Carez Cotton is the son of Jerry and Carol Bowie-Cotton of Destrehan. After graduation, he plans to pursue a degree in Mass Communications and Theatre. Carez’s DHS activities include: Honor Roll, 3 years; Wrestling, 1 year; Talented Theatre, 3 years; Kick-Off Mentor, 2 years; Beta Club, 3 years.

Kyle Freese
Kyle Freese is the son of Connie and Tommy Freese of Montz. Glen Logan
Glen Logan is the son of Kenosha Sampson of Norco.  After graduation, he plans to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering. Bryson Marretta is the son of Ginger and David Marretta of Destrehan. Gavin Parks is the grandson of Carla and Randall Hampton of Destrehan. After graduation, he plans to pursue a degree in Biomedicine. Mason Daniel Aucoin
Mason Daniel Aucoin of Luling is the son of Wendy and Michael Aucoin. He is a member of the basketball team and the golf team. Mason is also a member of Beta Club and National Honor Society. He was awarded summa cum laude and the Dow Award of Scholastic Achievement. Mason attended Louisiana Boys State and is nominated for Student of the Year.  After graduation, Mason plans to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to major in Engineering.

Aaron James Bourgeois
Aaron James Bourgeois of Luling is the son of Lynnette and Brent Bourgeois. He is a member of the football team and the golf team. Aaron was awarded cum laude. After graduation, Aaron plans to attend Southeastern Louisiana University to major in Industrial Technology.

Beau Thomas Bourgeois
Beau Thomas Bourgeois of Bayou Gauche is the son of Monica Bourgeois and Thomas Bourgeois.  He serves as President of Interact, Vice-President of Beta Club, Secretary of Student Council, Editor of Yearbook and as a Kick-Off Mentor.  Beau is also a member of the marching band, Parish Honor Band, National Honor Society, Green Club, Spanish Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Student Advisory Team. He was awarded summa cum laude and the Dow Award of Scholastic Achievement. Beau also attended Louisiana Boys State and is nominated for student of the year.  After graduation, Beau plans to attend Nicholls State University to major in Nursing.

Ian Juwan Butler
Ian Juwan Butler of Hahnville is the son of Shanna Butler and Terrance Bickham.  He is a member of the Choir, Interact, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Junior Classical League. After graduation, Ian plans to attend Louisiana Tech University to major in Architecture and Drafting.

Hunter Matthew Dempster of Luling is the son of Beryl and Todd Dempster. He is a member of the wrestling team. Hunter was awarded cum laude.  After graduation, Hunter plans to attend West Point to major in Civil Engineering.

Drew Anthony Dunn
Drew Anthony Dunn of Des Allemands is the son of Yvette and Mike Dunn. He is a member of the football team. After graduation, Drew plans to attend college to major in Engineering.

Lionel Del’Monte Glenn
Lionel Del’Monte Glenn of Luling is the son of Christina Glenn and Lionel Martin. After graduation, Lionel plans to attend Nicholls State University to major in Business.

Iren Joseph Lee
Iren Joseph Lee of Boutte is the son of Courtney and Ivan Lee. He was awarded cum laude. After graduation, Iren plans to attend McNeese State University to major in Civil Engineering.

Rene’ Alceste Petit
Rene’ Alceste Petit of Luling is the son of Fran and Brent Petit. He serves as President of the student body, President of National Honor Society, Section Leader in the Band, Kick-Off Mentor and the Student Advisory Team.  Rene’ is also a member of Interact, Parish Honor Band and the Citizen Action Committee. He was awarded summa cum laude and the Dow Award of Scholastic Achievement.  Rene’ attended Louisiana Boys State where he served as Secretary of the Senate at Boys Nation and was a U.S. Youth Senate Nominee.  After graduation, Rene’ plans to attend the University of Texas to major in Computer Engineering.

Jamonte’ Lamone Williams
Jamonte’ Lamone Williams of Hahnville is the son of Lacy and Jamaine Williams. He is a member of the football team. After graduation, Jamonte’ plans to attend Southeastern Louisiana University to major in Sports Management.

Keiko Kathleen Bernard
Keiko Kathleen Bernard of Luling is the daughter of Deiko and Randy Bernard. She serves as President of the Beta Club, vice-president of Interact, Section Leader in the Band, and as a Kick-Off Mentor.  Keiko is also a member of the Parish Honor Band, Talented Drama, Choir, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Thespian Society.  She was awarded cum laude.  After graduation, Keiko plans to attend Liberty University to major in Theatre.

Madison Aimee Cancienne
Madison Aimee Cancienne of Luling is the daughter of Maria and Calvin Cancienne. She serves as Secretary of the Thespian Society, Public Relations Representative of Interact and as a Kick-Off Mentor.  Madison is also a member of the Hi-Steppers, Beta Club, Talented Drama, National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, and Talented Art. She was awarded magna cum laude, the Dow Award of         Scholastic Achievement and she attended Louisiana Girls State. After graduation, Madison plans to attend Louisiana State University to major in Bio-chemistry.

Breanne Marie Cazenave
Breanne Marie Cazenave of Luling is the daughter of Kelly and Brett Cazenave. She serves as a Kick-Off Mentor and on the Student Advisory Team.  Breanne is also a member of the Beta Club, Interact, National Honor Society, Green Club, Yearbook, Student Council and Spanish Honor Society. She was awarded summa cum laude and the Dow Award of Scholastic Achievement. After graduation, Breanne plans to attend Louisiana State University to major in Architecture & Interior Design.

Shanyra Janét Chapman
Shanyra Janét Chapman of Paradis is the daughter of Schyain Sandolph and Carl Chapman. After graduation, Shanyra plans to attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette to major in Radiology.

Kayla Nicole Chategnier
Kayla Nicole Chategnier of Luling is the daughter of Kristy and Jean Paul Chategnier.  She is a member of the girls soccer team. Kayla was awarded cum laude. After graduation, Kayla plans to attend Southeastern Louisiana University to major in Business.

Elizabeth Catherine Cox
Elizabeth Catherine Cox of Hahnville is the daughter of Christie and Brenton Cox. She serves as a Kick-Off Mentor and on the Student Advisory Team.  Elizabeth is also a member of the Cross Country Team, Beta Club, Interact, National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, Engineering Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Junior Classical League. She was awarded magna cum laude and is nominated for student of the year.  After graduation, Elizabeth plans to attend Louisiana Tech University to major in Engineering.

Alexis Destiny Diggs
Alexis Destiny Diggs of Boutte is the daughter of Denyse and Russell Diggs Jr. After graduation, Alexis plans to attend Nicholls State University to major in Kinesiology.

Julia Frances Hackman
Julia Frances Hackman of Luling is the daughter of Lori and Andreas Hackman. She is a member of the cheerleading squad, Interact, and the Green Club.  Julia serves as a Kick-Off Mentor. She was awarded cum laude. After graduation, Julia plans to attend Louisiana State University to major in Nursing.

Maeson Elizabeth Martindale
Maeson Elizabeth Martindale of Des Allemands is the daughter of Melissa and John Martindale. She is a member of the softball team and cheerleading squad. Maeson is also a member of Beta Club, National Honor Society, National Art Honor Society, the Green Club, and serves as a Kick-Off Mentor.  She was chosen for the Times Picayune Senior Salute Student and nominated for student of the year. Maeson was awarded magna cum laude.  After graduation, Maeson plans to attend Nicholls State University to major in Elementary Education.

Sadie Elizabeth Peters
Sadie Elizabeth Peters of Luling is the daughter of Bonnie Weaver and Michael Peters. She is a member of the choir. Sadie was awarded cum laude.  After graduation, Sadie plans to attend Nicholls State University to major in Nursing.
