Along the sidelines of every Friday night Destrehan High School football game, are the crowd favorites, the Desty Darlings.
The 31-member dance squad has selected their 2008-09 troupe with Taylor Rebowe and Katelyn Benedetto as captain and co-captain.
Lieutenants are Jessica Stonestreet – first, Victoria Pellerin – second, Erika Beck, third and Taylor Krupp – fourth.
In addition to performing for football fans, the girls also attend dance camps and other competitions through out the school year and summer.
