Matthew Cummins and Kristin Berryman are pleased to announce their engagement.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Platte Valley High School in Kersey, Colo. She graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, Ala., in 2005 with a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications. Currently, she is the Tourism Program Assistant for the Colorado Tourism Office.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Hahnville High School in Boutte. He graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 2006 with a Bachelors in Science in Construction Management. He is a healthcare superintendent with Hoar Construction, LLC, and currently on site in Abilene, Texas.
The couple met in Denver, Colo. An Aug. 7, 2010, wedding at Trinity United Methodist Church is being planned in downtown Denver. After their wedding and honeymoon the couple will reside in Abilene, Texas.
