Test your talent and enter your artwork into tourist commission Christmas card contest
Get out your markers, paintbrushes, cameras and computers. It’s time for the 2007 3rd Annual River Parishes Tourist Commission’s Christmas Card Contest. The competition is open to the public, students of high schools in the River Parishes, and Attractions located in the River Parishes.
The 5″ X 7″ Christmas themed artwork or high resolution digital photography must showcase what makes the River Parishes a unique and exciting place for tourists to visit: Historic Plantations, Swamp Tours, Creole and Cajun Cuisine, Bonfires, and River Parishes Culture.
The winning card will be distributed to tourists who have visited the River Parishes from all over the world.
The winner will receive a framed and matted copy of the artwork to be displayed at the winner’s desired location.
A picture and brief story about the winning card will be published in local newspapers.
Contest entry deadline is Oct. 22 and the winner will be chosen on Oct. 31.
An official entry form must accompany each entry. No purchase or entry fee is required for participation.
