Air Force Junior ROTC has approved the Silver Valor Award for Cadet Jeremy Patrick Mayeaux.
He distinguished himself by outstanding performance as an Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadet at Hahnville High School.
On Jan. 16 Cadet Mayeaux came to the aid of students from HHS as well as the bus driver after a terrible accident involving two other vehicles, where he helped evacuate students and the driver.
