Parish residents open the Fizz Station, a soda pop-up shop

Cousins Olivia Crosby and Kelsey Fulks, St. Charles Parish natives, have opened the Fizz Station, a monthly pop-up soda shop. The grand opening was June 29.

The shop serves sodas enhanced with flavored syrups, rich creamers, and unique add-ins, in addition to flavored lemonades. Each drink is made to order and offers a twist on favorite soda classics.

“The idea of a dirty soda shop sparked from my obsession with mixing drinks at home, playing with different flavor combinations, and making something as simple as a soda feel a little extra and exciting,” Crosby said.

Crosby, who also operates Lilac & Co. Party Rentals, said she wanted to create something fun and different.

Cousins Olivia Crosby and Kelsey Fulks, St. Charles Parish natives, plan to offer their signature sodas at local events and markets around St. Charles Parish as they work toward a permanent storefront.

“I love the creativity that comes with mixing flavors, adding creams, syrups, and fresh twists to a classic soda,” she said. “It turns a regular drink into an experience. I wanted to share that playful, nostalgic, and feel-good vibe with others.”

Crosby and Fulks plan to offer their signature sodas at local events and markets around St. Charles Parish. She said residents should follow the business online for pop-up dates and locations.

“We’re building our brand and connecting with the community one drink at a time while we work toward opening our permanent storefront,” Crosby said. “We’re starting small, but with big flavor.”

Crosby said the shop has received positive feedback and support from the community.

“We’ve been blown away by the excitement, support, and love from our community,” she said. “It’s the best motivation as we work toward opening our permanent location.”

Fulks said the grand opening was a huge success.

The Fizz Station serves sodas enhanced with flavored syrups, rich creamers, and unique add-ins, in addition to flavored lemonades.

“We couldn’t be more grateful,” she said. “The energy was everything we hoped for.”

She said she hopes to expand the business’ menu and collaborate with local vendors in the future.

“We want our community to know that Fizz Station is more than just a drink pop up shop —it’s a locally grown business built with heart, creativity, and a commitment to community,” she said. “Our mission is to bring something fresh and fun to the area: handcrafted dirty sodas made with quality ingredients, customizable flavors, and a welcoming vibe.”
