A 17-year-old male was shot in an apparent drive-by shooting on Meadows Drive in Destrehan before midnight yesterday (Aug. 5).
Deputies called to the scene reported an apparent drive-by shooting had occurred when they found the teenage with a gunshot wound, according to St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne.
The victim, not yet named, was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
“Very few of the several witnesses who we believe were present have offered any cooperation,” Champagne said.
