DESTREHAN – Destrehan TaeKwonDo Plus Academy will be offering a Women’s Self Defense Class on Tuesday, Dec. 14 at 6 p.m.
In this practical course, women will receive self-defense training for physical and verbal attacks. There are no “secret moves” or complex techniques, just plain talk and straightforward defensive methods that they will practice on a live target. This course is for any women over 13 years of age. The class is $30 and will take place at Destrehan TaeKwonDo Plus Academy, 124 Longview Drive Suit 6B in Destrehan (the Red Church Shopping Center). Those who attend will also be welcome to attend a refresher course at a later date for free. Please call (985)764-9775 for more information.
