DESTREHAN – Fans of Japanese animation and readers of the popular Japanese Manga books, are invited to attend meetings of the SCPL Club Anime.
Participants will watch Anime films and may share books, display original artwork, practice drawing in the Japanese style, and meet others with similar interests.
Participants will make candy sushi after watching the Anime films.
Fullmetal Alchemist: The Curse, rated 13+, will be screened on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at East Regional Library.
These Club Anime meetings are open to participants ages 12 to 18, and are part of the “iLibrary” Teen Reading Program.
