DESTREHAN – A nature journaling workshop will be held on Friday, Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Master naturalist and artist Lauren Hemard will host a day-long nature journaling workshop.
After a lecture on the basics of nature journaling and an overview of the local ecology, participants will make a nature journal of their own. Weather permitting, the class will explore the grounds of Destrehan Plantation for hands-on practice. Attendees will be given a chance to discover a world of beauty right in their backyard. All supplies and lunch will be provided.
