LULING – Although the Mardi Gras holiday is still a few months away, the Krewe of LUl is getting ready for the carnival season and has released their upcoming meetings.
Meeting schedule:
Dec. 5, 6:30 p.m. – Ramada Inn, Luling. Jan. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, 6:30 p.m. – Ramada Inn, Luling.
Large float fees: $300 – pay by Dec. 5, $500 – pay by Jan. 2, 2008, $600 – pay by Jan. 16, 2008.
Small float fees: $200 – pay by Dec. 5, $400 – pay by Jan. 2, 2008, $500 – pay by Jan. 16, 2008.
No entries will be accepted after Jan. 16, 2008. The parade is scheduled for Feb. 2, 2008. The parade line-up and float numbers will be distributed on Jan. 30, 2008.
