DESTREHAN – The Kid Krewe du market will roll at the German Coast Farmers’ Market on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. at Ormond Plantation.
Decorated wagons with krewe members ages 10 and under will parade through the market booth area whirling Mardi Gras throws. First and second place prizes will be awarded to the “Best of Show.”
To participate, the decorated wagon must be pulled by an adult and the rider must provide his/her own throws.
Entrance fee is $5. Participants are asked to arrive between 9 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. to sign up.
