ST. CHARLES PARISH – The St. Charles Parish Women’s Club is taking applications for five university scholarships of $1,000 each for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an ACT score of at least 20 and a GPA of at least 2.5.
They are also offering a $500 scholarship to a student who plans to attend a community, junior or technical college (no ACT necessary). The high school seniors must be a resident of St. Charles Parish.
Applications may be obtained by visiting the Destrehan High or Hahnville High Web sites or by e-mailing a request to daabfamily@yahoo.com.
Deadline for the application is March 1.
