LULING – A benefit dance is being held on June 17 for Bentley Louviere, who was diagnosed with a rare bacterial infection that left him in a nursing home. The dance will take place at the VFW Hall from 9 p.m.-1 a.m. Admission is $60 per couple or $40 per person and is BYOL, but drinks, water, ice and food will be provided.
The band Moonshyn will perform and a three-person charter fishing trip, worth $1,200, will be raffled off. Each fishing raffle ticket costs $20.
There will also be raffle baskets and a 50/50.
