The St. Charles United Methodist Church, 1905 Ormond Blvd., Destrehan, will hold its first annual Cub Scout Bike Rodeo Aug. 17 10 a.m. to noon at the church. The rodeo is open to children age 10 and under who bring a bike, helmet and a parent or guardian.
There also will be helmet checks, bike inspections, obstacle course, bike registration with the Sheriff’s Office, free helmet giveaway, bike safety education, bicycle tuneups and a drawing for a new bike. The United Way of St. Charles is an event sponsor.
