HAHNVILLE – In rememberance of all veterans, the American Legion No. 131 asks the community to donate blood on Nov. 17 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Parish Courthouse in Hahnville. The Ochsner Bloodmobile will be on site and all donors will receive a Saints/Blood Bank shirt, mini physical, cholesterol test, blood typing and blood assurance package. Donors must bring a photo ID and are encouraged to eat a healthy meal prior to donating. Those taking medication for high blood pressure or cholesterol can still donate. A meal will be served to all donors.
