BOUTTE – The public is invited to a benefit banquet by the Alpha Daughters of Zion on Feb. 26 at 7 pm. Rev. Marilyn Washington of Donaldsonville will be the guest speaker and the theme is “Soaring Over Storms.”
The Alpha Daughters aim to provide assistance and a safe haven for women and children of domestic violence and homeless victims. The event will be held at the John Dorsey Multi-Purpose Building, 13635 Old Spanish Trail and tickets are $25.
