LULING – The AARP will again offer assistance to low and medium income seniors in preparing their income tax at the West Regional Library located at 105 Lakewood Dr. in Luling beginning the first week of February, Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and continuing through April 15.
Taxpayers are requested to bring their 2007 tax return, all 2008 W-2s, 1099s or broker equivalent, social security benefits and homeowners insurance declaration page. Also bring your real estate tax payments. These are now deductible even though you do not itemize.
