HHS cheerleader & mascot tryouts

BOUTTE – There will be an informational meeting about cheerleading and mascot tryouts for the 2008-09 school year on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m. in the Hahnville High School auditorium.

Those interested in trying out who are unable to attend the meeting should contact Ms. Candice Reed at creed@stcharles.k12.la.us after the meeting to obtain a packet of tryout information.

A mandatory instructional workshop will be held on April 7 through 10 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the school gym.
Tryouts will be held April 11 at 3 p.m.

A fire set in the boy’s bathroom in a building at Hahnville High School forced the administration to evacuate more than 1,200 students. The fire started in what students and faculty refer to as the ‘purple building.’
