Swimmers compete at June 8 meet in Luling

Willowdale Country Club’s swim team hosted the Ormond swim team on Wednesday, June 11. Ormond defeated Willowdale 525-446. Listed below are the male and female first place winners for both teams.

•6 and under: Joy Conlin – Willowdale and Timmy Brown – Ormond in freestyle. Dena Vial – Willowdale and Alex Scheffler – Ormond in backstroke.

•7 and 8 years: Claire Dantin and Drew Williams – Ormond in freestyle. Claire Dantin and Kyle Grieshop – Ormond in backstroke. Emily Sellers and Austin Carter – Ormond in breaststroke. Claire Dantin and Drew Williams – Ormond in butterfly.

•9 and 10 years: Maddie Sellers and Zachary Dantin – Ormond in freestyle, backstroke and butterfly. Ashley Carter – Ormond and Warren Massimini – Willowdale.

•11 and 12 years: Bailey Wilson and Tyler Massimini – Willowdale in freestyle. Megan Garretson and Colin Nelligan – Ormond in backstroke. Emma Taylor and Tyler Massimini – Willowdale in breaststroke. Bailey Wilson and Tyler Massimini in butterfly.

•13 and 14 years: Betsy Chester – Willowdale and Matt Arseneaux – Ormond in freestyle. Lauren Lovelace and Matt Arseneaux in backstroke. Lauren Lovelace – Ormond and Jacques Petit – Willowdale in breaststroke. Betsy Chester – Willowdale and Matt Aresneaux – Ormond.
