Reed, Landry play major role in win

Led by Ed Reed and Dawan Landry, the Ravens advance on Playoff Weekend.

The Baltimore Ravens River Parish duo of Dawan Landry and Ed Reed were a major factor in the Ravens 33-14 win over the New England Patriots.

The Patriots had never lost an opening playoff game in New England until the Ravens stingy defense came to town Sunday afternoon.

Reed, coming back from a groin injury, intercepted Tom Brady early in the first quarter and he was in on 4 tackles.

Landry, a former star quarterback at Hahnville High School, also intercepted Brady and he was in on 7 tackles in the contest.

Next week the Ravens travel to Indianapolis where the Destrehan/Hahnville safety combo will face off against former Louisiana high school stars in quarterback Peyton Manning and wide receiver Reggie Wayne with the Colts.
