Louisiana’s largest outdoor show, boat spectacular held this weekend in Gonzales

The 36th Annual Louisiana Sportsman Show and Festival, Louisiana’s largest outdoor show and boat spectacular, will be held March 12-15 at the Lamar- Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales.

The state’s premier hunting and fishing outdoor event will features acres of boats, fishing and hunting equipment, ATV’s, tractors and lawn equipment, plus, activities for the entire family.

Show highlights include miles of fishing tackle with a bass tank where pros will host regular seminars. Plenty of hunting gear for sale, including outfitters from across the U.S., plus, the Louisiana Sportsman Big Buck Contest, displaying some of the largest bucks killed during the 2014-15 season from Louisiana, Mississippi and across the country.

Cabela’s 3D archery range will be there for bow enthusiasts.

An extensive display of ATV’s and off-road vehicles, with a Yamaha ATV test track, and an indoor boat show featuring all major brands and dealers throughout the Baton Rouge area. The show will also feature a dedicated tractor and outdoor equipment area.

The show has FREE admission for the kids on Sunday, including their own “Kids Zone” to entertain them. And when you get hungry, stop by the improved food court with three times the selections as our previous shows.

The show hours run from 2-7 p.m. on Thursday, 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
