The Hahnville Tigers pulled off an impressive 61-51 semi-final victory over Huntington, who was the top-seeded team in the state.
Hahnville will now face Ouachita in the state finals March 14 at 8:30 p.m. in the Lafayette Cajundome.
The Tigers trailed 14-11 after the first quarter, and fell behind 29-23 at the half. However, Hahnville outscored Huntington 23-8 in the third to take a 46-37 lead into the final quarter.
Tiger guard Desmond Raymond was the main reason behind that surge, hitting three 3-pointers in the third.
Hahnville then hung on in the fourth, to put Huntington away 61-51.
